Last night, voters across the RGV sent a clear message by rejecting major school bond packages in Brownsville, PSJA, and Rio Grande City.

This is a major shift from what used to be a "clear win" for school districts. For decades, school bonds in Texas had a 70-80% pass rate. They were seen as a routine, necessary investment in growing communities.

The era of school bonds being a "sure thing" is over. Last night's RGV results are the latest and clearest sign of this new reality.

What do you think is the biggest reason for this shift?
