A state of the art $11 million Ocelot Conservation Facility is coming soon to the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Park. This new facility will significantly enhance the Institute's ocelot conservation efforts, providing a dedicated **** e for cutting edge research and breeding programs. It is estimated that there are fewer than 100 ocelots remaining in South Texas.
Construction is set to begin on November 1, 2024, with an anticipated completion date of December 31, 2025.
