New Spot "Cafe Rico" Permitted for 17th Street

While the city debates the future of the entertainment district, local investors are still betting big on downtown McAllen. We have confirmed that a construction permit has been filed for a new concept called Cafe Rico at 115 S. 17th Street.

Seeing a new "Cafe" concept (instead of just another nightclub) could signal a shift in the district's vibe.
