Hidalgo County is getting a new state of the art Emergency Management Facility at 7517 N. Expressway 281!
Construction of the 11 million dollar facility is set to begin on June 2, 2025, and is expected to be completed by January 23, 2027. This facility will serve as a training center for first responders and an Emergency Operations Center during times of emergency, featuring conference/meeting rooms and open/flexible training areas.
